Terms of Service

1. Service Description

upiagent ("the Service") is a UPI payment verification platform. We provide tools to generate UPI QR codes and verify payments by reading bank alert emails from your connected Gmail account using AI.

2. Account Requirements

You must provide a valid Google account to sign up. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Payment Processing

upiagent does not process payments. All UPI payments flow directly between the payer and your bank account via UPI infrastructure. We only verify that a payment occurred by reading your bank's email notifications. We are not a payment gateway, payment aggregator, or financial institution.

4. Data Access

When you connect Gmail, we access only emails matching bank alert patterns (e.g., from known bank sender addresses). We do not read, store, or access any other emails. Email content is processed in real-time and not permanently stored — only extracted payment metadata (amount, sender name, UPI reference ID) is retained.

5. API Usage

Free accounts are limited to 20,000 AI tokens per day. Rate limits apply to all API endpoints. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Payment verification depends on bank email delivery and AI parsing accuracy. We do not guarantee 100% verification accuracy or uptime.

7. Limitation of Liability

upiagent is not liable for any financial losses resulting from failed or incorrect payment verification. You should implement your own reconciliation processes for critical payment flows.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
